Silva Screen have announced the tracklisting and released official artwork for the upcoming A Christmas Carol soundtrack (pictured right).

The album was originally due later this month, but it has now been shifted to 21st March according to Amazon.

Considering it’s just one episode, the album features a healthy 29 tracks in total, highlighted of course by Abigail’s Song, performed by Katherine Jenkins.

The music is composed, as ever, by music maestro Murray Gold and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.

Silva Screen have announced the tracklisting for the upcoming Specials soundtrack. The special 2-disc collection features 47 tracks in total with music from Doctor Who episodes; The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead, The Waters of Mars and The End of Time.

Silva Screen noted - “The opening track, Vale is a cue from the larger work Vale Decem (loosely translated as Farewell Ten), which the music builds towards as the departure of the Tenth Doctor becomes imminent. The full version of Vale Decem is at the end of Disc 2.”
