Steven Moffat joined Graham Norton earlier this morning on his Radio 2 show to chat about Doctor Who. It’s a good interview with lots of fan questions asked including Moffat’s thoughts on the Omega rumours, the 6pm time slot, and Norton’s infamous cameo appearances. There’s also new clip you can hear at around the 10:45 mark.
Not content with last night’s Comic Relief appearance, Matt Smith was also a guest on Graham Norton’s Radio 2 show earlier today. The pair chat a little about Series 6 of Doctor Who, Christopher and His Kind and there’s lots of other banter including why Smith is not on Facebook. Check it out below.
It’s March and in a few short weeks fans can finally get their hands on the soundtrack album to last year’s Doctor Who Christmas special, A Christmas Carol.
But, if you fancy a taster right now, then you are in luck as Amazon have made all 29 tracks from the album available to sample. Click the play button below to please your ears.
The soundtrack is released Monday March 21st.
Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley caught up with Matt Smith for a chat at the launch of the Doctor Who Experience yesterday. Smith dropped a few hints on Series 6.
Smith On the Silence: “I think The Silence is the scariest Doctor Who monster in a long time, well since the Weeping Angels. Steven’s [Moffat] written a killer monster.”
Smith on the cliffhanger: “The Doctor and Amy are really faced with some quite cataclysmic choices, particularly at the end of the cliffhanger for Episode 7. It’s brilliant.”
Smith on River Song: “It will not disappoint. Steven’s been plotting this since the very first episode, and even with Silence in the Library, it’s all connected. He’s had this three-year plan and it’s all unfolding.”
And you can view some great pics from the Doctor Who Experience in Radio 1′s gallery here.
Silva Screen have announced the tracklisting and released official artwork for the upcoming A Christmas Carol soundtrack (pictured right).
The album was originally due later this month, but it has now been shifted to 21st March according to Amazon.
Considering it’s just one episode, the album features a healthy 29 tracks in total, highlighted of course by Abigail’s Song, performed by Katherine Jenkins.
The music is composed, as ever, by music maestro Murray Gold and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
The full tracklisting follows.

A few weeks back Matt Smith and Karen Gillan spoke of a Radio 1 Christmas special, although they didn’t reveal any details at the time. The BBC has announced the duo will become Radio 1 DJs on Christmas Eve, which should be fun. More details follow.
Starting on Christmas Eve and continuing throughout Boxing Day, BBC Radio 1 broadcasts the Top 10s of 2010 – a series of one-hour shows presented by some of the biggest stars of the past year.
James Corden, Matt Smith and Karen Gillan and Tinie Tempah will star in the first installment.
In each show, the celebrity guest presenters have a single hour to take over Radio 1′s airwaves and play the 10 favourite tracks that remind them of the year.
Matt and Karen’s slot will broadcast between 8am and 9am on BBC Radio 1 December 24th.

Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have been busy lately haven’t they! Earlier today they appeared on Steve Wright’s show on Radio 2.
It was another lighthearted chat with a few bits on Christmas and Series 6. The pair remained tight-lipped on Christmas and said nothing we haven’t already heard in other interviews.
On Series 6, Gillan revealed that the episodes they are filming now has “the best monster” yet and it beats her previous favourites The Weeping Angels.
Smith also joked that they’ll only bring back the Daleks when they run out of money.
When asked about their future on the show, they both said they are taking it “series by series”.
The full interview lasts for around 10 minutes and you can listen to it here.

Before the DVD signing in London yesterday Matt Smith and Karen Gillan were on Radio 1 with Fearne Cotton.
Smith let slip that there will be a Doctor Who Radio 1 special next month, although he doesn’t elaborate with any details, unfortunately.
He confirms the rumour that Katherine Jenkins will sing in the Christmas special. Not to be left out though, the pair then revealed that they will be also singing a Christmas tune on Doctor Who Confidential, but they want it to be “weird”. We have a feeling it will be!
The full interview lasts around 16 minutes. Click here to listen to it.
