Class: Series 1 Gets Late Night Slot on BBC1
The show, which completed its first series run through the online-only BBC3 earlier this month, will be available to watch on broadcast TV beginning Monday 9th January 2017.
However the news comes with a caveat – the show will air at 10.45pm. No doubt due to its adult content, it was mandatory to broadcast after the 9pm UK watershed in uncut form.
However, in terms of exposure this timeslot is hardly likely to boost the show’s profile and its disappointing initial viewing figures too greatly (less than 6o,ooo per episode).
BBC America will debut Class from Spring 2017.
