Doctor Who Future in Doubt After Capaldi ‘Fracas’
Peter Capaldi has been dropped from Doctor Who following a behind the scenes incident.
In a press statement the BBC stated: “Following a fracas, Peter Capaldi has been suspended pending an investigation. No-one else has been suspended.”
The news has left the show’s future in doubt with the BBC confirming it will no longer be broadcast this Autumn.
Capaldi is alleged to have punched a Dalek right in the eyestalk during an angry outburst in-between filming.
Steven Moffat said: “It is a great shame that it has come to this. We’ve been using the same Dalek prop for years and years and years. It was only one day away from retirement.”
The BBC declined to comment further on the incident. More news as it develops…
