Matt Smith has regenerated…

… into Chris Eccleston? Joking aside, the following pic recently surfaced from the set of Ryan Gosling’s new film “How to Catch a Monster,” which Smith is now shooting Stateside.

The question on fans’ lips right now is: can he grow his hair back in time for Doctor Who? Smith is meant to be filming the 2013 Christmas special after this movie wraps.

Or dare we say it: perhaps it’s all a ruse and the already wrapped 50th anniversary is actually Smith’s final episode.
