Moffat: Series 7 Plans Still “in Flux”
Doctor Who Magazine previously confirmed that Series 7 would not be airing until Autumn 2012. What still isn’t clear, however, is exactly how many episodes will be shown then. There’s been conflicting reports ever since BBC1 controller Danny Cohen said there would be a reduced count next year.
Steven Moffat gave an update on the situation to Total TV Guide and said nothing has actually been decided yet: “Our plans are still in flux. It’s not a secret that we’ll be moving to later in the year, but as to how many episodes there are going to be. I simply don’t know.”
However, Moffat promised that whatever happens, viewers are in for a treat: “I will absolutely guarantee that you’re not going to feel disappointed or short-changed. It will be a quite remarkable time for Doctor Who.”
