Series 6 Finale Pays Tribute
Doctor Who will pay tribute to Nicholas Courtney’s character, the Brigadier, in the Series 6 finale, The Wedding of River Song.
Courtney passed away in February this year. He was one of Doctor Who’s longest serving characters starring in over 100 episodes between 1965-1989.
Steven Moffat said: “In a story about the Doctor going to his death, it seemed right and proper to acknowledge one of the greatest losses Doctor Who has endured.”
