Series 7 Prequel Incoming

It looks as though the Doctor Who episode “prequels” will return again for Series 7.

According to her online CV, Sarah Bartles-Smith (Director of Photography) has worked one for the opener, Asylum of the Daleks. It is directed by Saul Metzstein.

Intriguingly, the CV states Bartles-Smith has worked something else titled “Last Day of the Ponds.” It doesn’t seem like this is a prequel, as it’s not listed as such like the other one. So perhaps it’s a DVD mini-episode like with “Night and the Doctor” from Series 6?

We expect the first prequel will be officially confirmed soon and hopefully released not long after.
