Filming continued on Series 8 of Doctor Who on Wednesday evening until late.
Unlike Tuesday’s shoot the setting was Victorian once again.

Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman were absent. Instead an intriguing guest star was brought out who is said to be the villain of the opening episode.
According to the Mail‘s write-up he will be playing Jack the Ripper (who you may recall Madame Vastra ate in 1888!) The unidentified guest actor can been seen wearing a top hat with green reference dots for CGI effects. He also had some kind of kind of cybernetic eyepiece.
In the right hand picture below he can be seen with actor Tony Way, who he later grabs and threatens.
