Smith & Gillan on Doctor Who Movie
When news broke last week that a Doctor Who movie was in the works
Responding to a viewer question about it during an interview on Radio 1, Smith said: “I have no idea what it’ll be about, because we’re not really anything to do with it.”
Asked whether the pair will star in it, they replied, “I doubt it.”
Karen added: “There’s always rumours about a Doctor Who film. I remember them saying Johnny Depp was going to be the Doctor,” to which Matt replied: “He would be a great Doctor.”

Last week, Alex Kingston also gave her thoughts on the film when she appeared on the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson: “I can’t believe they’re doing it. Who are they going to get to write it? Who’s any better than Steven Moffat or Russell T Davies? They’re the best.”
