The new Series 5 trailer airing this Saturday will also be shown in stereoscopic 3D on the big screen.

Digital Spy reports that a converted 40-second trailer will be shown in cinemas nationwide before screenings of Alice In Wonderland.

“Doctor Who is the appropriate vehicle for 3D. It just fits. It’s a great way to introduce and showcase the new Doctor to younger viewers”, said a BBC spokesperson.

Now going back to the small screen, we have an update that 6.30pm is the time to tune into BBC1 this Saturday. The trailer will air between Total Wipeout and Let’s Dance for Sport Relief. If you can’t catch it then, it will also be available on the official site.

It'd be sweet if the episodes were also in 3D and available to watch in the cinema :P I wouldn't mind paying £5 a week to go see the series in 3D on the big screen xD
