Neil Gaiman ‘Idris’ Hint

Writer Neil Gaiman has dropped an intriguing hint about his episode of Doctor Who.

Last month was announced that actress Suranne Jones would play a character called Idris in episode three of Series 6. A role which Gaiman said “people will remember forever.”

According to Ology, Gaiman revealed that the mysterious character “may be an old friend of the Doctor’s with a new face.”

It’s a small hint but could obviously be a significant one. So who do you think this ‘old friend’ be?
