Earlier this month, Doctor Who TV asked you to vote in our awards celebrating the best of the show from 2024. After almost 10,000 votes, we can now present the results.

Best Visual Effects: “Empire of Death”

With 21.62% of the overall vote.

Runner-up: “Boom”.

Best Music: “The Devil’s Chord”

With 33.22% of the overall vote.

Runner-up: “73 Yards”.

Best Writer: Steven Moffat (“Boom” & “Joy to the World”)

With 59.38% of the overall vote.

Runner-Up: Russell T Davies.

Best Director: Dylan Holmes Williams (“73 Yards” & “Dot & Bubble”)

With 66.56% of the overall vote.

Runner-up: Jamie Donoughue (“The Legend of Ruby Sunday”, “Empire of Death”).

Best Pre-Title Sequence: “Music, Maestro, please!” (“The Devil’s Chord”)

With 29.61% of the overall vote.

Runner-up: “Susan is the name of my granddaughter”(“The Legend of Ruby Sunday”).

With 30.79% of the overall vote.

With 22.27% of the overall vote.

Best Guest Actor: Steph de Whalley (Anita)

With 24.32% of the overall vote.

Best Lead Actor: Millie Gibson (Ruby Sunday)
