Series 6 Part 2 UK Date / Trailer Update

While the US air date for the second half of Doctor Who Series 6 is confirmed for the end of the month (Saturday 27th August), the BBC are yet to reveal when we’ll be seeing it in the UK.

It’s not surprising though, as the BBC don’t usually announce dates until a few weeks before broadcast. Programme information for Saturday 27th August won’t be released until this time next week, meaning we should know for sure by then. It’s extremely unlikely that it won’t be the same day as America, in any case.

A new trailer is also expected sometime soon. It will be around 1 minute long and, intriguing, is said to feature a scene of a steam train heading into a Egyptian pyramid that has an American flag painted on the sides.
