Two New Writers for Series 8
The new issue of Doctor Who Magazine (#473)
As rumoured, Peter Harness – writer of Wallander, Case Histories and the upcoming BBC adaptation of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell – has contributed a script for the show. Harness describes his story as “a rather crazy one.”
The other new scribe is Jamie Mathieson who has previously worked on several episodes of Being Human and spin-off Becoming Human, as well as an episode of Dirk Gently, Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel and the upcoming E4 pilot ALT.
Both stories will shoot in early May comprising Block 4.
Harness and Mathieson join Steven Moffat, Phil Ford, Mark Gatiss, Steve Thompson and Gareth Roberts.
