Your Verdict on Forest & Episode Ranking
It’s time to reveal how you voted in Doctor Who TV’s polls last week for In the Forest of the Night. As usual we asked you to give the episode a score out of 10:
As you can see Frank Cottrell Boyce’s contribution didn’t exactly set the world on fire in the eyes of Doctor Who TV’s readers. With a final averaged score of just 6.482, it’s comfortably the lowest ranked of all of Series 8.
So far the full 2014 placings are:

Face-Off: New Writer Debuts
In our Face-Off we pitted the new writer debut stories from Series 8 against each other and the rest from Steven Moffat’s era so far. Once again Neil Gaiman’s The Doctor’s Wife takes the top spot. It had a close competitor in Jamie Mathieson and Mummy on the Orient Express, which actually beat other fan favourite Vincent and the Doctor.
Is Clara Overshadowing the Doctor?
Finally, we asked if Clara was overshadowing the Doctor in Series 8. Almost 60% of those who voted said ‘no’ she wasn’t. And there we have it!
