Obituaries: Fiona Cumming, Bernard Kay
Doctor Who TV would like to pay our respects to two former Doctor Who figures who have sadly passed recently.
Fiona Cumming
(9 October 1937 – 1 January 2015)
Classic era director Fiona Cumming died aged 77.
Cumming directed the following stories: Castrovalva, Snakedance, Enlightenment and Planet of Fire.
Prior to this she was Assistant floor Manager on The Massacre of St. Bartholomew’s Eve, and Production Assistant on The Highlanders, The Seeds of Death and The Mutants.

Bernard Kay
(23 February 1928 – 29 December 2014)
Classic era actor Bernard Kay died aged 86.
He appeared in several stories in different roles: Carl Tyler in The Dalek Invasion of Earth, Saladin in The Crusade, Crossland in The Faceless Ones and Caldwell in Colony in Space.
He later voiced Major Dickens in Big Finish audio drama Night Thoughts.
