Paul Cornell Penning Multi-Doctor Story for Titan

Titan have announced that Paul Cornell is writing a special multi-Doctor comic series bringing together the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors.

Cornell of course previously wrote the acclaimed Father’s Day and Human Nature two-parter for the TV series, and more recently comic story “The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who”.

According to THR, the five-part storyline will replace the regular Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor comic series, and run weekly from mid-August through the end of September.

Details about the storyline — and the identity of the artist for the event — are being kept under wraps for now.

The companions in the crossover event will be drawn from the current comic book series for each Doctor, meaning comic book originals Gabriella Gonzalez and Alice Obiefune in addition to the Twelfth Doctor’s current traveling partner Clara Oswald.

The special crossover event launches Aug. 12, ahead of this year’s Doctor Who Comics Day on Aug. 15.
