When Will Series 9 of Doctor Who Air?

When will Doctor Who hit our screens this year? That’s the question, and earlier today came a possible answer.

Doctor Who producer Nikki Wilson wrote on Twitter, “We’ll be back in September,” in response to a fan question on the matter.

However the tweet was later deleted, so either the news wasn’t meant to be out yet, or the schedule is still to be finalised.

Last year, Series 8 began 23rd August, which neatly coincided with the late summer bank holiday weekend. If the show were to follow the same holiday this year we would be looking at Saturday 29th August.

Or perhaps Wilson was correct all along and it’ll be a little later. Time will tell…
