Chibnall: Series 13 will air “Sometime” in 2021
Speaking to EW, Chibnall said: “It will be next year sometime, hopefully, unless my holiday goes on for a really long time, which is always tempting.”
Teasing Jodie Whittaker’s third run, he said: “Once you see the end of this series [12], you’ll realize there are some stories we’re already setting in train for next series. We have very big, ambitious plans for our third series together.”
Fans realistically shouldn’t expect the show any earlier than autumn 2021, as filming won’t begin until September 2020.
