David Tennant’s return to Doctor Who was made official earlier this month, but a big question remains about who exactly he is playing. Original rumours suggested he would take over from Jodie Whittaker and become the 14th Doctor.

Alternatively, he could be playing the Tenth Doctor again. Or maybe the Meta-crisis Doctor (for those that don’t recall, this was the Doctor that ended up with Rose Tyler in Journey’s End). Or maybe someone else entirely.
