Who is the Ultimate Doctor? Round 1 Voting
Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary is just around the corner, so what better time to ask the hardest question of all: Who is the ultimate Doctor from the past 60 years?
Over the next few weeks in the lead-up to the big day DWTV will be hosting a series of elimination battles pitting Doctor against Doctor until we have a winner.
This is a double-elimination tournament, so a Doctor will have to lose twice to be removed from the competition entirely.
Round 1 incorporates the first seven battles. Vote now, and don’t delay because this round will only be open for the next 24 hours.
Where’s John Hurt?
Hurt has been given a bye. For those of you unfamiliar with that term, per Wikipedia:
In knockout (elimination) tournaments [a bye] can be granted either to reward the highest ranked participant(s) or assigned randomly, to make a working bracket if the number of participants is not a power of two (e.g. 16 or 32).
In this tournament, we had 15 Doctors and not the 16 required, so this was a necessary step. John Hurt was chosen randomly out of all Doctors to receive this. His first battle will be in round 2.
