Alan Cumming Reveals Role as King James I in Series 11

Actor Alan Cumming has revealed he will be guest starring in Series 11 of  Doctor Who.

Cumming broke the news on podcast Homo Sapiens stating: “I’m about to go and do an episode of Doctor Who. I’m so excited!”

The film and TV star also confirmed his role would be that of “a nice baddie”, or more specifically, Scottish monarch James I.

He added: “I’m James I. So I’m kind of like, you know, a kind of dandy, foppy, coward who kind of comes alright in the end.

“And they said he might come back.”
