BTS on Series 9: Doctor Deserted

Recently released by the BBC are a couple of behind the scenes sneak peeks at the Series 9 finale filming.

First up a few pics of Episode 12, which has been partly filmed overseas in Fuerteventura.

It should be noted that filming is already wrapped, with these shots from August.

Next a brief video with Director Rachel Talalay who talks about shooting on the location.

She says: “We’re doing a huge desert scene. What’s so fabulous about Doctor Who obviously is that every episode feels completely different and here we are in a completely different environment. Gorgeous, gorgeous material. I hope it’ll give it a completely different look.”
