Christmas Eve of the Doctor

We’re now just under 24 hours until the UK premiere of The Time of the Doctor.

Of course, tomorrow’s episode isn’t just any old festive special, it’s the one where we have to say a final farewell to Matt Smith’s Doctor, and a first ‘hello’ to Peter Capaldi! It will undoubtedly be a bittersweet day for many fans. Just hope your drunken relatives don’t talk all over the big regeneration! And bring tissues, you’re probably going to need them.

We’ll be opening up a special homepage on Christmas Day where you can follow the final countdown. Throughout the day we’ll also have some features celebrating Smith’s Doctor. Once the episode itself has aired they’ll be our regular ‘rate the episode poll’ where you can discuss the special in all its detail. Spoilerphobes may want to avoid the site until the episode has aired in your country!
