Colin Baker Updates on Five(ish) Doctors Sequel for 60th
A sequel has been discussed over the years since it aired, and now Colin Baker has given a little update.
Baker said that he and co stars Peter Davison, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann have talked about the possibility of doing a sequel for Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary in 2023.
Baker was asked by Den of Geek about reuniting again for the next big celebration and replied: “That was lovely doing [The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot]. Everyone did it for nothing. So a sequel – going back to the same well, all those camera people, make-up people, the locations for free – we would have to do it on a more commercial basis and the BBC probably wouldn’t let us do that.
“But, in theory, I’ve spoken to Peter, Paul and Sylvester about it, and they’re all up for it. If it happened, we’d do it.”
