Colin Baker’s Thoughts on Next Doctor
Sixth Doctor Colin Baker has given his thoughts on who he’d like to see as the next Doctor.
Speaking in a video interview with Flicks and the City, he said: “Leaving aside the controversy about whether it should be female or not – and I happen to believe there’s absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t. If the Doctor has twelve incarnations, surely he must be in touch with his feminine side to a certain extent?
“But I think the most appropriate person to play the new Doctor is someone like Matt Smith that we’ve never heard of before who makes us all go ‘Yes! That’s the Doctor!”
