Davison Wants To See Doctor’s Daughter Spin-Off

Fifth Doctor Peter Davison has suggested that his real-life daughter Georgia Moffett, aka the Doctor’s daughter Jenny, should return in her own spin-off.

Speaking in an interview with ABC.net, he said: “My daughter, who was in an episode with David Tennant, was in fact a Time Lord, and at the end of her story she flew off in to the universe – at the moment – never to be seen again. So let’s bring her back. Let’s have a spin-off with Jenny!”

Davison was giving his personal views on the subject of a female Doctor when the suggestion came up. He said: “I speak now as a fan who grew up watching it. I have trouble with the idea of a female Doctor, only because I reckon if you’re born on Gallifrey a man, you’re probably a male Time Lord.”

He added: “It seems to me if you reverse that, if you have an uncertain, fallible female Doctor with a really strong male companion, you’ve got more of a stereotype than anything else.”
