Dinosaurs On A Spaceship?!
They state:
DOCTOR WHO chiefs are making their own version of the blockbuster Snakes On A Plane called Dinosaurs On A Spaceship.
BBC bosses have decided to base an episode of the new series on the 2006 movie starring Samuel L Jackson in which hundreds of serpents cause terror aboard a flight.
In the sci-fi show, the Doctor (Matt Smith, 29) and companions Amy and Rory (Karen Gillan, 24, and Arthur Darvill, 28) land on a spaceship. They are unaware that lurking inside the craft are a bunch of prehistoric monsters including a T-Rex, stegosaurus, raptor and pterodactyl.
A source said: “When we said we had a monster series lined up, we meant it.
“This will be a whopper of an episode.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard dinosaurs will make an appearance this series. Back in March, there were reports of animatronics being prepped, and then there was that similar sounding title from the usually unreliable IMDB.
It’s hard to know what to make of this one. We know Steven Moffat is pushing for more in-your-face titles like Let’s Kill Hitler, so it’s a possibility. We also know that episode 2 will be called [Spoilers] on a [Spoiler], so this could fit. Although all the footage we’ve seen on that so far looks like it’s set in ancient Egypt. But we’ll just have to wait and see…
The Star close their report with this:
There will also be the annual Christmas Day special. The episode, rumoured to be a ghost story, will mark the arrival of the Doc’s new companion Jenna Louise Coleman, 25.
