Doctor Who Filming: Series 6 Episode 3
Filming is now well underway on episode three of Series 6. The episode, as previously reported, is written by Neil Gaiman.
This week the production team have been shooting scenes on location at Cemex quarry in Taff Wells and Mugimoe managed to get some pics of the action.
The location where the TARDIS lands shows broken pillars and other wreckage with interesting other broken architecture scattered around. It looks suspiciously like a crash site or perhaps a post-apocalyptic setting, like in Utopia. Of course Doctor Who has a history of using quarries for alien planets, so that’s another strong possibility.
One set spy said they spotted a scruffy looking person who looked a bit like a cavewoman.
Timeboyy also managed to get some pics of the same location in daylight.
