Doctor Who NTA 2013 Longlist

The longlist nominations have opened for the 2013 National Television Awards and Doctor Who has been nominated in three categories.

The show has been nominated for Best Drama. It faces competition from a host of shows including Sherlock, Merlin, Downton Abbey and more.

Matt Smith is up for Best Male Drama Performance, while Karen Gillan is nominated for Best Female Drama Performance.

The longlist will be narrowed down to a shortlist in January when final voting takes place. The awards ceremony will take place January 2013.
