Doctor Who Scoops More Awards

Adding to the series ever increasing trophy cabinet, Doctor Who has scooped another couple of awards.

Doctor Who won Best Family Drama in yesterday’s 2010 TV Choice Awards. Karen Gillan was in attendance to accept the prize. Sadly, Matt Smith lost out on Best Actor, which instead went to Jack O’Connell from Skins.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Doctor Who picked up a prestigious Hugo award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form for episode, The Waters of Mars.

Last week it was announced that Doctor Who had been nominated for Best TV Show in the 2010 Scream Awards. The show is up against Dexter, Lost, True Blood and V.
