Doctor Who: The Girl Who Waited

The official website has confirmed that episode 10 of Doctor Who’s sixth series is called, The Girl Who Waited.

As previously reported, it’s written by Tom MacRae who wrote The Rise of the Cybermen & The Age of Steel for Series 2 in 2006.

Thanks to recent trailers, we also know that it features The Handbots and Amy ends up fighting them at some point.

Very little else is known about the episode. Back in May, MacRae described it as an “unusual” episode.

Then, of course, we have this title. The Doctor described Amy as “The Girl Who Waited,” so it would hint this will be an Amy-centric episode.
