Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time Announced

A new Doctor Who game is coming soon to Apple’s iPhone and iPad.

Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time is the title and it’s being developed by Tag Games for release on the App store this Christmas.

Oli Smith, writer of the recent Nintendo games Evacuation Earth and Return to Earth, is also penning the story for this one.

Details on actual gameplay are thin on the ground at the moment. All we know is that players will be able take on the roles of both the 11th Doctor and Amy Pond.

Tag told us: “It’s a very focused title that can be played in either 2 minute or 2 hour chunks. It mixes action and puzzles and of course all the usual Doctor Who elements.”

Let’s hope it is better than the Doctor Who games on Nintendo which have garnered largely negative reviews. More info is expected in the coming weeks.
