Don’t blink! They’re Back

One of the Doctor’s most terrifying enemies will be returning in the upcoming fifth series.

New lead writer Steven Moffat confirmed that the Weeping Angels will be back to face Matt Smith’s Doctor in a Radio 3 interview. The scary stone statues were last seen in the series three episode Blink.

“The Weeping Angels are coming back”. Moffat replied when asked to tease something from the new series. No further info was given so we’ll just have to wait and see what the Angels have in store spring 2010…
