Quotes
Jack: "Who the hell are you?"
Mickey: "What d’you mean, who the hell am I? Who the hell are you?"
Jack: " Captain Jack Harkness. Whatever you’re selling, we’re not buying. "
Mickey: "But this guy, I dunno, he’s kinda… "
Jack: "Handsome?"
Mickey: "More like cheesy."
Jack: "Early 21st Century slang – Is cheesy good or bad? "
Mickey: "It’s bad. "
Jack: "But bad means good, isn’t that right? "
Doctor: "Are you saying I’m not handsome?"
Mickey "My God, have you seen yourselves? You all think you’re so clever, don’t you? "
Mickey: " That old lady’s staring."
Jack: " Probably wondering what four people could do inside a small wooden box…"
Mickey "What are you captain of? The Innuendo Squad? "
Idris: "The Lord Mayor says for– for popping by… she’d love to have a chat, but, um… she’s up to her eyes in paperwork. Perhaps if you could make an appointment for next week…?"
Doctor: "She’s climbing out of the window, isn’t she?"
Idris:"Yes, she is."
Margaret: “This is persecution. Why can’t you leave me alone? What did I ever do to you?"
Doctor: “You tried to kill me and destroy the entire planet.”
Margaret: “Apart from that.”
Margaret "Is that right? From what I’ve seen, your happy-go-lucky little life leaves devastation in its wake. Always moving on ’cause you dare not look back. Playing with so many peoples lives – you might as well be a God. "
Notes
This episode takes place in 2006, six months after the events of ‘World War Three’ making it September.
Margaret apparently survived the missle blast at the end of ‘World War Three’ by teleporting out just in time.
Margaret reveals her true name is Blon Fel-Fotch Pasameer-Day Slitheen.
The name of the project is Blaidd Drwg, which is of course Welsh for Bad Wolf, as The Doctor notes. This is the first time The Doctor realises the phrase has been following them around, yet he dismisses it as coincidence.
The rift opened at the end of this episode is the same one as seen in ‘The Unquiet Dead’.
The BBC launched www.badwolf.org.uk following this episode. The site gatherered all the clues mentioned in the series and offerered some possible theories. A hidden clue on the disclaimer page read, ‘Rose – Are you there? Are you getting this? You’ve got the point, haven’t you? Rose…?’
