Gillan invades Twitter

Karen Gillan has officially invaded the 140-character universe known as Twitter.

She has had a lot of impersonators, but Steven Moffat confirmed that @KarenGillan2 is her real account.

“Hello twitter…nice to meet you,” Karen first tweeted.

Later she added: “Thanks to everyone following me!!! Argh this is really exciting. Oh, and by the way…WE ARE IN NEW YORK!!!!”

Karen has already built up almost 40, 000 followers at the time of writing. If you haven’t already, you can follow her here, and why not follow Doctor Who TV here while you’re at it.

Matt Smith hasn’t followed suit yet, but Doctor Who Magazine’s Benjamin Cook said that they are working on it.
