today it seems. The wizard himself, Daniel Radcliffe, was asked if he’d be interested in taking on the role of the Doctor.

“I don’t know if I could play him,” Radcliffe told Digital Spy. “Matt Smith plays Doctor Who and does a wonderful job. They don’t need me!”

“I would never presume to jump into somebody else’s franchise, not at all.”

Radcliffe, who worked with director David Yates on Harry Potter, thinks he will “do a wonderful job” on the Doctor Who film that he is supposedly working on.

“I’m sure whoever he casts will have a very good time with him,” he added.
