Let’s Kill Hitler Highlights
Doctor Who TV’s highlights from Let’s Kill Hitler. If you haven’t watched the episode yet, you should probably stop reading here!
Crop Circles in Leadworth
The opening sequence was a fun moment that introduced us to “Doctor” crop circles and Mels.
Flashback
A humorous flashback showing us Amy, Mels and Rory growing up.
Also notice the “Break the Silence” poster on one of the posters in Amy’s school during the flashback. Coincidence?
Teselecta 2: Judgment Day
Hats off to The Mill for the transformation effect on Teselecta.
Hitler’s in the closet
The irony.
Mels/Melody/River Song
As many had guessed, Mels was actually Melody who then regenerated into River Song.
“You named your daughter after your daughter?”
Bananas are cool…
…Especially when used for thwarting attempts on your life.
Rory. Punching. Nazis
It started with a kiss
River or Poison Ivy?
Best line
There were a loads of great lines, but this one from River had to win:
“Well, I was on my way to this gay, gypsy bar mitzvah for the disabled, when I suddenly thought, ‘Gosh, the Third Reich’s a bit rubbish, I think I’ll kill the Fuhrer.'”
They’re back (sort of)
It was good to see Rose, Martha and Donna again. Even if they were just holograms.
River goes shopping
In only a way River could.
Sonic Cane
Coming to a toy store near you soon. Probably.
Child of the TARDIS
So that’s how River really knew how to fly the TARDIS.
Regen
Conveniently, River uses all of her remaining regenerations to bring the Doctor back to life.
Death date
The Doctor is still hiding his death from Amy and Rory, even though they already know.
River’s career choice
Luna University 5123. So that’s why River got into archaeology.
