Madame Vastra Returning in Series 7?

Time to grab the salt because the Daily Star are back with yet another Doctor Who rumour.

This time, they are reporting that Silurian samurai Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh), last seen in A Good Man Goes to War, will return in Series 7.

Although it sounds like she will be minus her partner Jenny (Catrin Stewart, the other Jenny!) Instead Vastra will supposedly fall for new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman.

A “source” apparently told them: “Steven Moffat loves to shake up the show. What better way than a lesbian storyline?”

However, when a fan recently asked McIntosh on Twitter about returning, she replied: “I wish… Still thinking up plot lines to pitch to Mr Moffat.”

With no other supporting evidence other than hazy rumours, we’re going to say this one is most likely false, for now.
