Moffat Talks Series 7, Ponds, Wild West

Before the new companion was announced, BBC America interviewed Steven Moffat at the SXSW 2012 event.

Moffat chats about the Ponds and their future with the Doctor in Series 7: “As you saw at Christmas, [the Doctor’s] relationship with them is more complex, more entangled. He is after all, in a sort of mad way, their son-in-law.

“He continues that relationship in slightly different way for him. They do get older, they age a little.”

He also talks his plans for blockbuster episodes, Toby Whithouse’s wild west episode, Twitter, and his future.
