R.I.P. Bob Baker (1939-2021)
Doctor Who TV is saddened to report on the death of Bob Baker.
The writer, best known for his work on Doctor Who and Wallace and Gromit, died at the age of 82.
Baker wrote for the classic era of the show between 1971 and 1979. His contributions included: The Claws of Axos (1971), The Mutants (1972), The Three Doctors (1972–1973), The Sontaran Experiment (1975), The Hand of Fear (1976), The Invisible Enemy (1977), Underworld (1978), The Armageddon Factor (1979) and Nightmare of Eden (1979).
Baker is notable for co-creating robotic companion K-9, alongside Omega and the Axons.
