R.I.P. Jackie Lane (1941 – 2021)
Doctor Who TV is saddened to report on the passing of Jackie Lane.
She played companion Dodo Chaplet in the classic era of Doctor Who.
Lane first appeared in 1966’s First Doctor story The Massacre of St Bartholomew’s Eve, and she left the same year in The War Machines.
She died at the age of 79.
Rest in peace, Jackie.
