Rumour: New Lego Doctor Who Game set for 60th Anniversary

A new rumor claims that a LEGO Doctor Who game is in development from TT Games.

The rumor landed on Reddit with a post claiming that the game will explore every version of the Doctor seen thus far, but star an entirely new Doctor who hasn’t been announced yet.

Other details rumored include levels that will showcase other planets and locales from Victorian England, as well as pulling directly from episodes of the show.

Part of the rumor is that the game will be released in 2023 in celebration of the show’s 60th anniversary.

Though this rumour doesn’t sound particularly far-fetched (according to the Redditor, the 2015 Doctor Who Lego Dimensions set was the highest selling), as always, it’s worth taking with a pinch of salt.

Already, a former employee at TT Games appears to have poured some cold water over it. As always though, we’ll just have to wait and see.
