Series 6 First Day Filming

With filming on the 2010 Doctor Who Christmas Special now done and dusted, work on Series 6 officially began yesterday.

Episodes three (Neil Gaiman) and four (Mark Gatiss) are currently being shot in Cardiff. According to location spies, filming is taking place in an disused nursing home. Make of that what you will.

Yesterday, episode Director Richard Clark tweeted, “First day done. Always a relief. Cast and crew finding their rhythm but already we’ve some lovely moments.”

Later Clark added, “Matt’s [Smith’s] performance a joy. Wonderfully talented actor. Sadly can’t reveal anything about guests, except that I’m delighted.”
