Series 6 Opening Titles
At long last, the first two titles for Series 6 have been revealed. Episode 1 is called The Impossible Astronaut and episode 2 is Day of the Moon.
BBC reporter Lizo Mzimba announced the news on his Twitter feed: “Just got invite to screening of first two new Dr Who eps. “The Impossible Astronaut” and “Day of the Moon”. Gosh, the year’s gone quickly.”
Not long after, Doctor Who Magazine said the same and that we can expect to see titles for the next five episodes in the issue out April 7th.
The fact they are screening two episodes adds considerable weight to the rumour that we will get to see both over the Easter weekend. Last year, only one episode was screened for press.
So the opener features the astronaut above and Moffat previously posed the question: “Have you ever wondered about Apollo Ten and a half?”
The working title for episode 1 was The Year of the Moon while episode 2 was Look Behind You.
