Series 7: Chibnall will Scare

Doctor Who’s executive producer Caroline Skinner gave an little update on Series 7 in the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine

Skinner confirms that the Russell T Davies-owned Dalek (pictured) he loaned for filming on the opener has a “a starring role in the climax.”

She moves on to talk about the second episode which is being written by Chris Chibnall. Skinner says it has “the best episode title ever” and will be “the biggest VFX episode of the series”.

Skinner also dropped a few hints on Chibnall’s other story this series, the fourth episode currently shooting and believed to be titled (or have the working title of) Cubed. Also, the penultimate episode to feature Amy and Rory.

She describes the episode as, “a massive, rollercoaster ride of a sci-fi story.”

“It’s all about Amy and Rory’s relationship – full of warmth, love and a celebration of their time on the show. But don’t be fooled. Chris will scare you to bits with this episode!”

“It’s also the last one we’ll shoot with Arthur and Karen in Cardiff. Words cannot describe how epic this moment is.”
