Series 9 Finale Filming Update

The script readthrough for the Series 9 finale took place last week, the BBC revealed today. A pic of Peter Capaldi’s script was released to accompany the update:

The script title has been changed to an “X” (start your 10th Doctor speculation again now), but it confirms it is part of shooting Block 8.

There has been some confusion over the final filming order of Series 9. Originally Doctor Who Magazine stated that Mark Gatiss’ episode (the ninth) would go in front of the camera last, but the following issue said that episode 12 would instead. We can now safely assume the latter is correct with filming on 12 beginning imminently, if not already.
