Series 9 Trailer 2 Breakdown
Capaldi back in the red jacket suggesting this takes place from episode 10, or onwards.
Something is grabbing him and it doesn’t look friendly.

It’s a Dalek party right here in these shots from the opener. 60’s, 70’s/80’s, Sec (or at least his model) and a Supreme join the modern Daleks. The only ones who haven’t shown up are the Paradigm! But that’s probably for the best. Also notice the 60’s era set design, especially on the doors.
Behind Clara the scenery out the window resembles the one seen in Skaro city.
A couple of shots showing a ghostly looking figure.
The hand looks like the one that previously grabbed Capaldi.
We saw this Victorian ‘ghost’ in the first trailer. It is stalking the corridors of the underwater base featured in Toby Whithouse’s two-parter.
We also saw this hooded and disfigured character before. The Master, pre-Missy? The first trailer suggested another visit to Karn.
Our previous speculation about Odin’s appearance may have been a little off, but this has to be him. We know he appears in episode 5/6, played by David Schofield. Now we know the Vikings are working with these other monsters from the story.
Capaldi to the rescue on horseback. Again.
And he is now having a seizure due to the rapid-fire editing.
Capaldi confronts the incredibly tall, aforementioned (and rumoured) ‘Fisher King’.

Williams is a bit more dolled up here. Perhaps a celebration of some kind has been interrupted.
As we know from filming that this is Osgood right in the middle of a Zygon invasion.
Speak of the devil. The Zygons have certainly perfected stupid menacing faces this year.
On first glance some may assume Missy is working alongside the Daleks again, but given her expression here she could in fact be against them this time.
The ‘cat-man’ we saw earlier has had a spicy chili.
A couple of shots showing Capaldi making a hasty escape from a monster by jumping out the window!
Again the red jacket suggests episode 10.
“WHAT. IS. HAPPENING?”
Asks the Supreme Dalek, and much of the audience. This also offers a possible glimpse of the Special Weapons Dalek. Let’s hope it gets to do something other than sit around looking pretty this time!

Actually the first review of Series 9.
This looks to be from the Zygon two-parter. UNIT are back and so are their red berets which we thought they had ditched in the Moffat era. This could indicate the story takes place a several years back which would also handily explain Osgood’s return. So she’s not back from the dead or Zygon, but pre-Missy murder.
