Sherlock Will Return

The conclusion of Sherlock on Sunday night left viewers with a bit of cliffhanger ending (and that’s putting it mildly). A cliffhanger that might never have been resolved should it not have been renewed for a second series. Well, today you can breathe a sigh of relief. Sherlock will return for another run sometime in 2011.

Sue Vertue (who appeared with husband Steven Moffat) told BBC1’s Breakfast earlier today, “There will be more. We’re having a meeting, just to sort of talk about how many and when really. Steven and Mark [Gatiss] are both busy. Steven is obviously doing Doctor Who as well, so it’s just when we are going to do them.”
